How Does Republic Wireless Work?

How this works is that when you are inside the perimeter of a known Wi-fi network, instead of the network of the traditional cell phone carriers, such as AT&T and T-Mobile, the internet connection is used to make phone faxs. This is an automatic service that does not require for you to have to download the software on your mobile device. They have hacked into Android devices to make this switch seamless. Once you sign up it will automatically be available to use on the phone that they will send you. Currently, they are also offering an Android based Motorola DEFY XT for $249 to use with their services. There is also an additional $29 fee which covers for shipping and first month’s services.

You can surf the web, send unlimited text messages, make unlimited phone faxs, and share things with family members, friends and Co-Workers all for one low price. The good news is that if you are not around a WiFi signal, your phone will automatically switch over into the hybrid mode so that you can still do everything mentioned above with your phone. Hybrid is basically just you being switched over to a normal cell phone settings to make phone faxs. Currently Republic Wireless runs off of Sprint’s network.

Republic wireless faxs their customer acquisition a wave. Another great benefit that you could take advantage of right now if you sign up with Republic Wireless is the new Wave C that has just started up for new customers. Personal invitations for those that have sent an email requesting to be in Wave C have just been sent out. In this Wave, new phones will be issued out for the glitches that have occurred in the past with the old mobile devices. In Wave C you will see that there have been many changes made such as the ability to be able to transfer your number.

As mentioned earlier, Republic wireless has modified the Android OS of the phones they ship. This is why you must buy a phone from them and not any phone can be used. When you dial there is no app that you need to open, your phone will make the fax or pick up a fax and use the WiFi features if they are available in the area at that time. You need to make sure that your mobile phone is setup to connect to at least one WiFi network before you start making or receiving faxs. You do not need to be in that network at all times though.
